DESCRIPTION

Testing for ketone levels, alongside glucose and uric acid, is highly important for monitoring and managing chronic conditions such as gout and diabetes, and detecting serious conditions such as diabetes-related ketoacidosis (DKA). Especially for diabetic patients, being able to test for ketone can be life-saving, as having too high ketone levels can lead to DKA, which can be life threatening if untreated.
