Working Together Towards Better Primary Care: BUZUD at SingHealth Dot PCN
Two events in one day, at the same time?! It sounds insane but Team BUZUD is practically superhuman anyway! While our colleagues and volunteers are reaching out to the public at another event, BUZUD was also part of SingHealth Dot PCN over the weekend – a gathering that brought together passionate general practitioners (GPs), primary care teams and partners committed to strengthening care in the community.
In a healthcare landscape where more people are living with chronic conditions, the role of primary care has never been more important. The event was a powerful reminder that when GPs are supported with the right tools, patients benefit directly – at home, in the clinic and over the long term.
A shared vision for stronger primary care
The energy at the SingHealth Dot PCN event was both warm and purposeful. GPs, clinic staff and partners came with a shared vision: to explore how primary care can be made more accessible, continuous and comprehensive for patients of all ages.
For BUZUD, it was a valuable opportunity to:
- Listen to GPs’ real‑world experiences managing chronic diseases in busy clinics
- Understand the daily challenges of follow‑up, adherence and monitoring
- Share how technology can support holistic, team‑based care in the community
The conversations we had were honest and grounded – full of practical insights on what truly works for patients and what would help clinics the most.
Sharing from the stage: How BUZUD empowers better care
Beyond conversations at the booth, BUZUD was also invited to give a talk during the event. In this session, our team focused specifically on how BUZUD’s healthtech solutions can empower GPs to deliver even better care to their patients.
We highlighted how:
- Connected home monitoring can give GPs clearer, more consistent visibility of their patients’ day‑to‑day health, bridging the gap between clinic visits.
- Data and simple digital tools can support more timely interventions and follow‑up, allowing GPs to proactively manage conditions.
- Technology can be designed to fit seamlessly into existing clinic workflows, reducing administrative burden and freeing up valuable time for patient interaction.
The talk sparked engaged questions and discussion from GPs and clinic staff. Many were keen to explore how such tools could be implemented in their practices, and how they might enhance care for patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and high cholesterol.
For us, it was not just about presenting solutions, but about listening carefully to what primary care teams need on the ground – and how we can refine our offerings to meet those needs more precisely.
Empowering GPs with healthtech solutions
At the heart of our participation was a simple question: How can BUZUD make life easier for GPs and better for patients?
Throughout the event, we introduced how our ecosystem can:
- Enable advanced home monitoring of key parameters (e.g. blood pressure, blood glucose and other vitals)
- Provide timely, structured data that can be reviewed by GPs between visits
- Support chronic disease management with clearer trends and better visibility over time
For GPs, this means fewer blind spots between appointments and more confidence in making decisions, especially for patients with complex or multiple conditions. For patients, it means feeling more supported outside the clinic, with tools that help them take ownership of their own health journey.
Meaningful, two‑way conversations
One of the most rewarding aspects of joining SingHealth Dot PCN was the number of deep, meaningful discussions we had with GPs and primary care teams.
In return, we were able to share how BUZUD’s solutions are built with these realities in mind – focusing on usability, integration and patient engagement, rather than technology for its own sake.
These two‑way conversations were invaluable. They not only affirmed our current direction, but also highlighted new areas where we can continue to co‑create with primary care providers.
Looking ahead: building the future of care, together
As we look back on our time with SingHealth Dot PCN, one thing is clear: the future of healthcare in Singapore will be shaped significantly in the GP clinic and community setting.
BUZUD is excited about:
- Continuing to explore how our solutions can be tailored for primary care workflows
- Partnering with GPs and care teams to improve monitoring, follow‑up and patient education
- Supporting a model of care where patients feel known, supported and empowered at every step
We left the event inspired by the passionate energy and shared vision in the room, and we are grateful to SingHealth Dot PCN for the opportunity to be part of this important conversation – both at our booth and on stage.
This is just the beginning of the journey, and we look forward to working hand in hand with primary care partners to build a smarter, more connected and more patient‑centred future for everyone.
