BUZUD Supports Community Health at NUHCS Celebrates World Heart Month 2025
As part of NUHCS Celebrates World Heart Month 2025 on 13 September 2025, an initiative anchored on World Heart Day, BUZUD partnered with the National University Heart Centre, Singapore (NUHCS), the People’s Association, and Keat Hong Community Club to bring preventive healthcare closer to residents and encourage proactive management of key health indicators.
Empowering individuals through health checks and advice
By partnering with NUHCS, BUZUD helped extend prevention beyond hospital settings, supporting residents to take practical, everyday steps towards better heart health.
At the event, BUZUD offered essential health assessments including:
- HbA1c testing – to detect and monitor risks related to diabetes.
- Lipid profile testing – to check cholesterol levels linked to heart disease.
- Blood pressure checks – to identify risks of hypertension and cardiovascular strain.
As BUZUD’s devices deliver results instantly, attendees could view their health reports on the spot. This immediacy meant they didn’t have to wait for lab calls or follow-up visits—any potential concerns were highlighted right away. Just as importantly, the accuracy and reliability of the devices ensured participants could trust the numbers in front of them.
Right after their checks, residents sat down for one-to-one consultations where health professionals walked them through their results in detail. Many found this especially helpful: having someone explain what their numbers meant, and how small lifestyle adjustments could make a difference, turned data into meaningful action.
By combining convenient testing with personal guidance, BUZUD helped transform a quick health screening into a moment of understanding and empowerment.
Our SG60 commitment: 60,000 free health checks
This effort aligns with BUZUD’s SG60 Health Initiative, our nationwide mission to provide 60,000 free health checks across Singapore. By making testing and consultations accessible, BUZUD empowers individuals to take charge of their own health before issues escalate.
The initiative not only offers free screenings, but also opens the door to long-term health monitoring. Participants were also encouraged to adopt regular home monitoring with BUZUD’s easy-to-use medical devices , so they can track changes over time and share accurate data with their doctors. With BUZUD devices—such as blood pressure monitors, Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs), and portable ECGs—individuals can continue monitoring their health from home, sharing these results with doctors for better-informed care.
Through this initiative, BUZUD aims to reduce barriers to early detection, ensuring more Singaporeans understand their health risks sooner and adopt preventive measures before serious conditions arise.

Prevention begins with awareness
Cardiovascular disease is one of Singapore’s most pressing health challenges, and many contributing factors—high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and elevated blood glucose—often go unnoticed. By combining health checks with personalised guidance, BUZUD helps to close the gap between awareness and action, giving individuals the clarity and confidence to make changes before it’s too late.
