This Conditions, Unified Terms of Use, Privacy Summary, and Medical Device Notice (“Terms”) governs your access to and use of products and services provided by Roffe International Holdings Pte Ltd, BUZUD Pte Ltd, and their affiliates (collectively, “BUZUD”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms apply to:
- BUZUD medical devices, including continuous glucose monitoring systems (“CGMS”), diagnostic devices, wearables, and related accessories;
- BUZUD mobile applications and software;
- BUZUD Medical System (BMS / iHIS) and healthcare-provider portals;
- BUZUD websites, e-commerce services, and digital platforms; and
- Customer support and related services.
By accessing or using BUZUD products, applications, or websites, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and our BUZUD Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
1. Medical Device Disclaimer
1.1 Informational Use Only
BUZUD medical devices and applications are intended to collect, display, and support monitoring of physiological information such as glucose levels, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rate, temperature, and other health parameters. These outputs are provided solely for informational and self-management support purposes.
1.2 No Diagnosis or Medical Advice
BUZUD devices and software do not provide a medical diagnosis, do not determine treatment, and do not replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals. You must seek medical advice before making any changes to medication, treatment, diet, or lifestyle.
1.3 HSA Registration
BUZUD products are registered with the Health Sciences Authority (“HSA”) of Singapore, as well as with other regulators and governing bodies such as FDA, CE, TGA.
Registration with HSA means the device has been assessed to meet applicable safety and performance requirements for supply in Singapore.
However, HSA does not provide commercial endorsement of any specific product, and individual results may vary depending on clinical context and correct use.
2. User Responsibilities
By using BUZUD devices or applications, you agree to:
2.1 Use devices strictly in accordance with the Instructions for Use (IFU).
2.2 Ensure proper sensor placement, calibration (where required), and device maintenance.
2.3 Verify readings using confirmatory measurements (e.g., finger-prick test) when the value appears inconsistent with symptoms or expected trends.
2.4 Update firmware, mobile applications, and operating systems promptly to maintain performance and safety.
2.5 Only operate BUZUD software on non-rooted, non-jailbroken devices.
2.6 Avoid modifying, reverse-engineering, or tampering with any BUZUD device or software.
2.7 Understand that improper use may lead to inaccurate readings or device malfunction.
3. Limitations of Device and App Accuracy
3.1 Factors Affecting Readings
Physiological, environmental, or mechanical factors may affect readings. Examples include:
- Early Sensitivity Attenuation (CGMS)
- Compression-induced low readings
- Local immune response
- End-of-life signal attenuation
- Interference from medications, temperature, or skin conditions
3.2 Trend and Predictive Data
Trend data, predictive indicators, and algorithm-derived insights are estimates and must not be used as the sole basis for medical decisions.
3.3 Connectivity
Data transmission relies on Bluetooth, internet connectivity, and smartphone performance. Interruption or delay may occur.
3.4 Liability
BUZUD shall not be liable for decisions made solely based on displayed readings without professional consultation.
4. Privacy Summary
Your privacy is governed by the BUZUD Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
Key privacy commitments include:
4.1 BUZUD collects personal data, health and device data, and technical logs necessary to operate, support, and improve our products.
4.2 All personal and health data are stored exclusively on secure AWS Singapore servers.
4.3 Health data is processed with enhanced protection due to its sensitive nature.
4.4 Data may be shared with healthcare providers only with your explicit consent.
4.5 BUZUD complies with PDPA requirements, including access, correction, retention limitation, withdrawal of consent, and data minimisation obligations.

5. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property relating to BUZUD devices, software, firmware, algorithms, user interfaces, designs, trade names, analytics, and content is solely owned by BUZUD.
You may not:
- reproduce, copy, or distribute any BUZUD software or content;
- reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works;
- circumvent security or technical protection mechanisms.
Any unauthorised use constitutes a breach of these Terms.
6. Software and Firmware Updates
6.1 BUZUD May Deploy Updates
Updates, patches, enhancements, or modifications may be deployed for:
- safety and performance improvement;
- cybersecurity protection;
- regulatory compliance;
- addition or removal of features.
6.2 Mandatory Updates
Some updates may be mandatory for continued safe operation.
6.3 Acceptance
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated software and terms.
7. Liability and Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:
7.1 BUZUD Shall Not Be Liable For:
- incorrect readings arising from improper use;
- medical actions taken without professional consultation;
- delays or data loss due to connectivity issues;
- device failure arising from unauthorised modifications;
- use of the app or device outside intended or approved environments;
- reliance on trend or predictive data without confirmatory testing.
7.2 Liability Limitation
BUZUD’s liability, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be limited to the purchase price of the product or service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
8. Regulatory Obligations and Adverse Event Reporting
BUZUD may disclose relevant personal or device-related data to regulatory authorities (e.g., HSA) for:
- adverse event investigations;
- safety monitoring;
- regulatory audits;
- compliance matters.
You agree to cooperate fully during any investigation, including providing accurate information and returning affected devices for evaluation.
BUZUD is not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or claim arising out of adverse event investigations or regulatory actions.
BUZUD reserves all rights to investigate incidents or misuse and pursue remedies or compensation where applicable.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not use BUZUD devices, services, or platforms to:
- engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive conduct;
- transmit malware or interfere with system integrity;
- misrepresent device performance or provide false data;
- impersonate any person or entity.
BUZUD may suspend or terminate access for any breach.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
BUZUD is not responsible for:
- content of third-party websites;
- their policies or practices;
- accuracy of third-party information;
- damage or loss from interacting with external services.
Users engage with external sites at their own risk.
11. E-Commerce, Payment Security, and Transactions
For purchases on BUZUD platforms:
11.1 Payments may be processed through third-party processors.
11.2 BUZUD does not store full credit card numbers or CVV.
11.3 Transactions may undergo verification and fraud screening.
11.4 BUZUD may refuse or cancel orders as required by law or internal policies.
12. Termination and Suspension of Access
BUZUD may suspend or terminate your access if:
- these Terms are breached;
- continued access creates security or regulatory risk;
- required by HSA or another authority;
- fraudulent activity is detected.
Legal data retention rules may continue to apply after termination.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
