DESCRIPTION

The Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) Rapid Test Cassette is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of TSH in human whole blood at a cut-off concentration of 5μIU/mL. This test provides a preliminary test result and can be used to screen for TSH.

When TSH levels are elevated (above 5μIU/mL), it can be an indicator of Hypothyroidism. If the test is done and hypothyroidism is suspected, further blood testing can be conducted with doctors to reach a conclusive diagnosis early.

This test is a self-test kit, intended for adults who are suspected of hypothyroidism, or who are displaying symptoms similar to hypothyroidism. This test is only intended as a preliminary test, and positive/abnormal readings would be discussed with doctors and/or medical professionals.
