<\/p>\nWhat a truly special day it was. At the International Medical University (IMU) in Malaysia, we did much more than sign an agreement \u2014 we celebrated a warm, meaningful milestone that feels like a big step forward in BUZUD\u2019s story across Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n
We took a moment to reflect on the first anniversary of BUZUD\u2019s Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system, and, even more importantly, we formalised a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IMU. This collaboration is centred on advancing diabetes care, research and community health initiatives in Malaysia, and it beautifully reflects our growing commitment to the region.<\/p>\n
The event was also enriched by the insights of distinguished speakers, including Dr Amit Gupta (Chair, IDF School), who shared his expertise and perspectives on diabetes care and the evolving role of innovation in improving outcomes. Dr Amit Gupta was also speaker at the 3rd Borneo Diabetes Conference, where we launched our Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system.<\/p>\n
As a Singapore medtech company, BUZUD has always seen Southeast Asia as a region with shared needs and shared possibilities. Malaysia, in particular, has become a very special part of that journey.<\/p>\n

\nExploring how mobile, connected and wearable technologies can support people in Malaysia living with diabetes and other conditions \u2014 wherever they are.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Joint research collaboration
\nCo-developing research that reflects local realities, generating insights that inform clinical practice and, over time, regional thinking.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Community health screening
\nPartnering on screening and outreach efforts to support early detection, education and prevention within Malaysian communities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
IMU Innovation Centre ecosystem
\nEmbedding BUZUD into IMU\u2019s innovation environment, where academics, clinicians, students and industry partners come together to co-create and test new solutions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Through this, Malaysia becomes not just a market, but a key partner hub in BUZUD\u2019s wider SEA vision.<\/p>\n
