<\/p>\nWhat a busy October for BUZUD! After a short break, it’s was back to the grind again for Team BUZUD. This time, BUZUD was part of the Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress (SHBC) 2025, one of the region\u2019s key platforms for healthcare and biomedical professionals to come together, share ideas and explore the future of health.<\/p>\n
Across two packed days, the congress brought together clinicians, researchers, innovators and industry partners under one roof. For Team BUZUD, it was a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and share our passion for cutting\u2011edge healthcare solutions \u2013 both at our booth and on stage.<\/p>\n
The atmosphere at SHBC 2025 was nothing short of inspiring. From plenary sessions and scientific presentations to bustling exhibition halls, there was a constant sense of curiosity and momentum. Everywhere you turned, people were exchanging perspectives on how to improve care, push scientific boundaries and translate innovation into real\u2011world impact.<\/p>\n

At the BUZUD booth, we met:<\/p>\n
These interactions reminded us that healthcare is, at its core, a team effort. No single organisation can transform the system alone \u2013 it happens through collaboration, dialogue and shared commitment.<\/p>\n

Beyond the exhibition floor, BUZUD was also represented on stage. Our Senior Director, Mr Tiwari, delivered a talk that highlighted how Continuous Glucose Monitors is the next biggest discovery since insulin for diabetes. He also delved into how BUZUD’s technology, data and human\u2011centred design can come together to support a more connected and sustainable healthcare system for people with diabetes.<\/p>\n
It was a valuable platform for BUZUD to contribute to the broader conversation on the future of health \u2013 not just through products, but through thought leadership and shared learning.<\/p>\n

One of the key highlights for BUZUD at SHBC 2025 was also the opportunity to showcase our AI\u2011Care project, developed in close collaboration with a team of nurses and dieticians from Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH).<\/p>\n
Together, we worked hand in hand to build an AI food analysis function within the BUZUD app \u2013 designed especially for real\u2011world use in clinics and at home. With just a single photo of a meal, the AI is able to estimate the amount of carbohydrates, fats and protein on the plate.<\/p>\n
This means that instead of manually guessing or counting, patients and healthcare professionals can:<\/p>\n
What makes AI\u2011Care special is not just the technology itself, but the way it was created \u2013 shaped directly by frontline nurses and dietitians who understand the realities of patient education, time constraints and behaviour change. Their clinical expertise and on\u2011the\u2011ground experience helped ensure that the feature is not only clever, but also practical, intuitive and meaningful for both patients and care teams.<\/p>\n
By bringing AI\u2011Care to SHBC 2025, we were able to demonstrate how AI, clinical knowledge and user\u2011centred design can come together to support more personalised, sustainable approaches to nutrition and long\u2011term health.<\/p>\n

Alongside AI\u2011Care, SHBC 2025 was also a chance for us to showcase our broader range of innovations and demonstrate how BUZUD is contributing to a more connected, proactive and patient\u2011centred healthcare ecosystem.<\/p>\n
At our booth, visitors got a closer look at:<\/p>\n
Our team walked visitors through real\u2011world use cases \u2013 from chronic disease management and telemonitoring to community screenings and preventive health programmes. The focus was always the same: how do we make life easier for clinicians and better for patients?<\/p>\n

In addition to our booth showcase and AI\u2011Care demonstration, BUZUD also conducted on\u2011site health checks at SHBC 2025. Using our range of monitoring devices, attendees could have simple, quick screenings done on the spot \u2013 from basic vital signs to key parameters relevant for long\u2011term health.<\/p>\n
These checks served as a practical bridge between technology and day\u2011to\u2011day wellbeing. What truly stood out at SHBC 2025 was the quality of conversations we had. We engaged with some of the brightest minds in health and biomedical science \u2013 people who are driving research, informing policy and shaping models of care.<\/p>\n

These exchanges were not just intellectually stimulating; they were deeply practical. Attendees shared on\u2011the\u2011ground realities, from time pressures in clinics to challenges in patient engagement. Their perspectives will continue to guide us as we refine our solutions and plan future developments.<\/p>\n
For Team BUZUD, SHBC 2025 also felt like a reunion and a fresh beginning rolled into one.<\/p>\n
We reconnected with partners we have worked with over the years \u2013 catching up on new initiatives and evolving needs on the ground. Those spontaneous \u201chello, what does this do?\u201d moments often turned into thoughtful discussions about new innovations and shared goals: healthier populations, smoother care journeys and smarter use of technology. It was a strong reminder that the healthcare community in Singapore and the region is both tight\u2011knit and forward\u2011looking.<\/p>\n
As the congress drew to a close, we left SHBC 2025 with a renewed sense of purpose. The two days reinforced what we have always believed:<\/p>\n
